Completed Ch 4 18 by reviewing the tile patterns from last class and extending the ideas to a graph. (Pattern -> Rule) (Pattern -> Graph)

Completed 19 and 20 in teams
Completed 26, 27 and 28 as a class to discuss the connections between the graph and the rule, and the table and the rule.
Completed 29a to discuss the connection between the rule and the pattern.
These are the connections we have made so far in Chapter 4.

Today in class we...
Started The Tile Pattern Partner Challenge by looking at a tile pattern and analyzing it. This led to a new seating arrangement. We will return to these tile patterns in a few days to finish.
Completed problems 4-8, 9, 10 and 11 together as a class. If you were absent these are now your responsibility to finish.
Homework: 4-16.

Today in class we...
Played a game to practice solving equations including equations that contain decimals and fractions. To do so we divided the class into two teams, and raced to show the correct solution. This allowed us to answer problems (90, 93, 98 and 102).
Earned problems to skip from the remainder of the assignment through the game. Here are the problems that each class needs to do:

--2=2, all numbers are solutions, verified by substituting multiple values for x and simplifying
